The Minion cafe opened as a quick service location in the newer MinionLand near the front of Universal Studios. As soon as you step inside you are surrounded by all sorts of minion themed decor. The nice thing about this menu is you will find some healthier options here like crispy cauliflower, salmon and salads compared to normal theme park fare.

My girls are a big fan of ramen so they were excited to try Otto’s noodle bowl. This came with porchetta along with corn and udon noodles in a tonkotsu broth but was sadly quite flavorless.

From the kids menu we tried the Freedonia festival mac and cheese. The meal came with cute Minion shaped tots and mini banana. Be warned this is a rich white cheese and my kids did not like it, but the tots were a hit.

Also from the kids menu we had the shrunken moonballs with flying sauce (minus the moonballs), you had the options to get it without the meatballs which we did. All kids meals come with a mini banana.
The food we had while all looked really good everything was disappointing flavor wise. The big hit here were the tiny bananas.
