Toy Story Land has officially opened at Disney World. This new land in Hollywood studios brings 2 new rides, quick service restaurant and character meetings.
As you walk into the new land you will see the Slinky Dog roller coaster. This family friendly coaster does have a height requirement of 38 inches. For kids who aren’t quite tall enough there is a seating area where you can watch family and friends on the ride.
The other new ride is the Alien swirling saucers. We were told that this was like the Tea Cups over at Magic Kingdom but its a bit different.
This ride has a height requirement of 32 inches. Our 2 year old was just barely tall enough to go on but there is only a belt keeping you on the ride so we kept a hand around her just in case.
Disney always does a great job with blending the bathrooms into the theme of any land and this area is no exception, inside even the stalls are colorful.
Woody’s lunchbox is the new quick service restaurant. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner with mostly sandwiches and sides.

There is a new entrance to Toy Story Mania, the area to the old entrance has been closed off. The games inside the ride are still the same so the only change is to the entrance and exit lines.
There are also 2 character meet and greets. As soon as you enter Toy Story Land you will find the line for Buzz Lightyear over in front of Toy Story Mania you will find the line for Woody and Jessie.
