Epcot’s World Showcase only offers 3 rides, one is Frozen Ever After in the Norway pavilion. This replaces the Malestrom ride that closed in 2014. Frozen Ever After opened summer of 2016 to crazy long waits of up to 5 hours! Luckily the lines tend to stay in the hour range now days but this ride can be Fastpass+ and is highly recommend!

The line has plenty to look at while you wait. There are several posters and a bulletin board with references to the movie.

The main part of the line makes you feel like you are walking into the middle of the town. There are banners up filled with lanterns featuring Elsa and Anna silhouettes.

The standby line takes you inside Wondering Oakens trading co. Inside there’s a sauna door and the window plays little videos on like characters are in the sauna.

Just after Oaken’s shop the standby line and fastpass line merge just before the boarding area.

This ride is a boat ride and there is a chance of getting splashed towards the end. If you have rode on the Malestrom you are familiar with the drop near the end, it’s exactly the same.

You will make your way towards Elsa and her ice palace.

Elsa uses her icy magic along with her ice monster and snowgies to send you down the water fall. My 8 year old does not like any kind of hill or drop so she refuses to ride this after the first time. There is a steep drop and you can get splashed.

At the end you see Elsa and Anna in their spring outfits while they sing along with Olaf. This ride is super cute and great for all the Frozen fans in your family. It is definitely worth riding at least once.

If your kids are really into Frozen they can meet the sisters over at the Royal Sommerhus also located in the Norway pavilion.
