With the Toy Story Land opening about a month away it’s time to start keeping an eye on the new Stars Wars land. Disney is opening this new land officially named Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California. Disney recently released the opening seasons for both of the new lands. While there is no official day we know Disneyland will be opening in the summer of 2019 and Disney World is set to open late fall 2019.

During a Galactic nights panel on Sunday Disney released the name of the village guest will visit will be called Black Spire outpost located on the plant Batuu. The new land is will to span 14-acres and offer 2 new attractions. The first will put guests in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. The other will allow you to fly the Millennium Falcon.

At Disney World there is also a Star Wars themed hotel being built on the south side of Hollywood Studios close to Galaxy’s Edge. This resort is going to be different than the other Disney resorts. This new resort will offer an immersive experience complete with optional costumes and the windows in the rooms will offer views of space.
