Disney World (along with other popular theme parks) is know for waiting in lines. Some of the longer lines are found waiting for rides at all the parks. A few of the rides have a single rider line that allows them to fill up as many seats as possible. This cuts down your wait time by quite a bit and you do not have to be traveling alone to use this line. If you are with your friends and/or family in this line you will most likely get split up. Kids do have to be at least 7 to use the single rider line and I would make sure they are comfortable with the ride before they go alone.

At Hollywood Studios:

  • Millennium Falcon: Smuglers Run
  • Rock n Rollercoaster
  • Rise of the Resitance – not until later in the ride.

At Epcot:

  • Test Track (you miss out on making a custom car)

At Animal Kingdom:

  • Expedition Everest

At Magic Kingdom:

  • Space Mountain- There is no exterior queue for single riders however once you get towards the loading area castmembers will send single riders to a separate line.

The single rider line is a good alternative for the popular rides if you were not able to get a fastpass. We use the Test Track line the most as that is my oldest favorite ride. While this line does make your wait much shorter you also miss out on other parts of the line like making the car at Test Track or choosing your job on the Millennium Falcon.
