Way back in 2019 Disney made the announcement of a new BBQ sit-down restaurant in Toy Story land featuring all Andys favorite toys. Then covid put everything on pause and no new details were released until this week Disney finally gave us a peek at the menu and opening date confirmed. Roundup Rodeo BBQ is set to open March 23, 2023 and will be served family style similar to Garden Grill and Liberty Tree Tavern.
The meal starts with cheddar biscuits with pepper jelly and selection of fresh salads.
The main course starts with a selection of smoked meats including ribs, sausage, brisket and chicken. There are also plant-based substitutes upon request like slow-smoked cauliflower, impossible “rib chop” and oven roasted “bratwurst. You will also get sweet, traditional and spicy BBQ sauces.
Your table will choose 4 sides from loaded tater tots, breaded pickle spears, baked beans, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, veggie slaw, potatoes salad or roasted seasonal vegetables.
For dessert you can choose from lemon and blueberry cheesecake, Forky cupcake, chocolate silk pie, apple pie and peach-strawberry pie. How cute are those Forky cupcakes? Our family would definitely want to try one of everything.
