This ride is 2 parts the main floor has Tonight show memorabilia from all the past and current host(s). If you choose to just look around and skip the ride that is ok too.
You will have to make your way up to the 2nd floor to wait in line for the ride. The ride takes place in basically a theater but it does have a height minimum of 40″.
At the entrance all members of your party will be given a colored pass, we were with the orange group this time.
Once up to the 2nd floor there is a waiting area with interactive screens you can send “Thank you” cards or play a game.
They also have a barbershop group called the Ragtime Gals that give live performances. This makes the wait go by quickly and it’s in the AC which is even better during those hot Florida summers. They call groups based on the color of your ticket so keep an ear out.
Like many of the ride/attractions at Universal this is a 3D simulated ride so you will need to grab your glasses once in line. There is a brief introduction of what to do once you enter the theater and how to buckle the lap belts.
If you are visiting with kids not quite tall enough to ride they do have a waiting room just beyond the exit doors that plays clips from the Jimmy Fallon show.
