The Wish is one of the newer Disney cruise ships, it offers several categories of rooms with the inside rooms being the cheapest option. We usually stay in the deluxe oceanview room that offers a large porthole window because I just worried having the balcony with kids but this trip they were all old enough for me to feel it was safe to finally experience.
The room can sleep up to 4 and comes with a queen-sized bed and 2 twin beds. The main bed is raised, and you can easily fit your luggage under here.
The veranda is big enough for 2 to relax while taking in the views. For those traveling with young kids there is plexiglass between the bars and a lock inside near the top of the door so kids can’t open without permission.
There are 2 separate bathroom areas, the first has a small sink and toilet. There is also a built-in night light in this room to make it easy to find at night.
The 2nd bathroom area includes a separate sink and a shower/small tub combination. Like all the ships this shower is small for those taller cruisers this shower may be a bit awkward.
There is a closet area with plenty of hangers and there were 2 robes available for in room use. There is a small safe for keeping your valuable items locked up along with life vests in the event of an evacuation.
In the evening the couch gets converted to a bed and the top bunk will be lowered down for use. This room is perfect for traveling with kids, while the rooms on cruises are on the smaller size we did not spend much time in the room so it works just fine.
