If you are looking for something fun to do outside the Universal theme parks you should check out the Hollywood drive in mini golf course. Located near the front of the Citywalk near the Bubba Gump shrimp co. restaurant.
There are 2 different 18 hole courses to choose from, if you want to play both there is a discount available. The girls decided they wanted to play the haunted side. They even had little plastic clubs for the baby to play along with big sisters.
Each hole was themed with spooky stuff like grave stones and even a giant spider. There was even a hole with swamp monsters that squirted water at you.
In addition to playing the game we were also given score cards that had trivia questions for different holes through out the course. At the end we were given scratch off cards for answering the questions. These contained discounts on future purchases.
The girls had a lot of fun playing here and really wanted to do the Sci-fi side but we had lunch at Bubba Gump to get to. The guy who was working there told us our discount scratch offs never expire so we will for sure be back to play the other side.
