Probably one of the worlds most recognizable characters, Mickey Mouse is sure to be on most families must see list. There are plenty of opportunities to run into him both in the parks and at some of the resorts. Make sure you have your autograph books and camera ready.
In the Parks
At Magic Kingdom once inside on the right in the town square theater you can meet talking Mickey Mouse. This is a unique opportunity to have a conversation with Mickey. Fastpass is available.
At Epcot’s character spot- located in future world you can meet Mickey and friends. Fastpass is available for this meet and greet. Make sure you stop by Club cool (next door) for a free drink after.
At Epcot’s Chase visa card- special meet and greet only for Visa Chase card holders just show your card to get in. Here you can have your picture with Mickey and friends along with free digital download of the picture. Depending on the day this can be a bit of a wait. You can find this next to Journey into the imagination with figment.
At Hollywood Studios over by the Sci-fi dinner you can find Mickey dressed as the sorcerers apprentice.
In Animal Kingdom you can find Mickey meeting in the Adventure outpost in his safari outfit. Fast pass is available.
Character dining
Chef Mickeys– Inside Disney’s Contemporary resort you will find Mickey along with the other members of the Fab 5 meeting all day. Meals here are served buffet style, and beware there is ice cream and other deserts even at breakfast! This resort is on the monorail line so its easy to hop over the the Magic Kingdom or Epcot after your meal.
‘Ohana: Best friends breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch– Also on the monorail loop at the Polynesian Village resort you can enjoy family style breakfast with some added island flare. In addition to Lilo and Stitch you can dine with Mickey and his dog Pluto too. The kids usually also enjoy the parade around the restaurant with the charters. Mickey greets in his Hawaiian shirt.
Cape May Cafe: Minnie’s beach bash breakfast -At Disney’s Beach Club resort you can have breakfast with Mickey and friends. This is served buffet style with guest favorite Mickey waffles. A great way to start your day for sure. If Epcot is your destination be sure to take advantage of the “back door” at the International gateway just a few minutes away on foot from here. Mickey greets in his beach wear.
The Garden Grill: Chip n’ Dale’s harvest feast– Located in Epcot’s future world in the same building the is home to the ride Soarin’ you will find The Garden Grill. This restaurant is unique in that it slowly rotates and you get a different perceptive of some of the scenes from the living with the land ride. The food is served family style and you are welcome to refills of anything you want more of. Mickey greets in his plaid shirt and overalls.
Mickey’s Backyard BBQ– Over at the Fort Wilderness Resort campgrounds you can meet Mickey while enjoying all you can eat bbq and sides. This meal also features a live band and Mickey and his pals might even join you on the dance floor, which the kids are sure to love. Mickey greets in his western-wear.
Tusker House– Inside Animal Kingdom just before the Kilimanjaro Safari ride you will find this yummy mix of African and American flavors served buffet style .We all enjoy the jungle juice here and there is plenty even for your picky eaters. Mickey and his friends will greet you at your table in their safari wear.
