Mardi Gras this year looks a little different with covid, the main thing that’s missing are the concerts. Back again is the tribute store near the Jimmy Fallon ride. Inside you will find several themed rooms just like the Halloween and Christmas/Holiday layout. You will find a Jazz themed area, a bayou graveyard and pirates. There are special themed treats like king cake and pirate skulls.
There is a scavenger hunt named the Krewe Crawl you can participate in for an extra fee. Similar to what they have offered during the other holidays you will get a map that will be stamped at each location and at the end you get to choose a special Mardi Gras necklace.
For the foodies you can enjoy food and drinks from 13 different countries including Brazil, Germany and Mexico. You can purchase a tasting lanyard for a set price and enjoy both food and drink for a set price.
The girls were sad that the parade was canceled as that was their favorite part from previous visits. But Universal set up floats around the park and throughout the day they would throw out beads to guests. The girls were still able to leave with a ton of beads.
Mardi Gras runs from February 6th until March 28th inside Universal Studios.
