The Leaky Cauldron is the main restaurant in Diagon Alley which is located in the Universal Studios park. You will order at the counter and they will bring the food to your table, so not quite fast food.

The food here is very traditional British food however they do have mac and cheese on the kids menu. Be aware there is no regular soda through out either of the Harry Potter lands. If none of the drink options appeal to you the do offer complimentary ice water with your meal, just ask.

As you enter the line to order they have a nice window display of all the different entrees so you can have a better of idea what you will get.

Once you order they will give you a number to place on your table you bring it to the host/hostess and they will find a table for you. They do have a few large communal tables so there is a chance your group could sit next to another group.

First up the the bangers and mash. You can’t see it well but there is a nice mound of mashed potatoes under the sausages. It’s topped with a mix of caramelized onions and cabbage.

I was trying to decide between the cottage pie-beef and veggies or the Fishermans pie-shrimp,salmon and cod. So I went for the mini pie combo which offered 2 nice sized portions of each along with a garden salad. I will say the salad here was way better than what I got a the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade.

The oldest oped to go simple with mac and cheese with a side of fries, they also have the choice of grapes and applesauce.

My other kiddo decided to try the fish and chips. She really enjoyed the fish and said she would get it again.

We really enjoyed our lunch here, all the food was hot and fresh and tasty. Everyone left with full happy tummies and we will definitely dine here again.
