Nestled inside the France pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase is a yummy little ice cream shop. L’artisan des glaces which is french for the ice cream maker.

The inside is fairly small and there is no seating, basically just enough space to order and take your treats back outside. There are a few tables just outside and small seating area just inside the building right next door which has the quick service Les Halles Boulangerie.

You can have your ice cream or sorbet in a cone, waffle bowl or even pressed into a warm brioche. For the grownups they offer an ice cream martini.

My 6-year-old opted for plain vanilla in a cone this visit. We have also tried the chocolate and the mint-chocolate.

While the 9 year old decided to be a little more adventurous and tried the macaroon ice cream sandwich. She was a bit disappointed she didn’t really get to pick the flavors but said it was still delicious.

The best part was these were both snack credits on our dining plan. The girls both enjoyed the ice cream here, it’s a perfect treat on those hot Florida days.
