Disney offers guest several forms of complementary transportation throughout the Disney world resort. The buses are the most common so we are going to take a look inside and out and get to know the Disney World buses. The resort to park buses run 45 minute before the park opening and stop an hour after park closing.

The buses run between the Disney World resort hotels, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, Disney Springs and the ESPN Wide World of Sports. The time it takes to get to and from depends on the location you are at but averages about 15 minutes. There are resorts that share buses and this can add to your total trip time so plan accordingly.

The regular buses have around 30 seats and room for another 20 or so to stand. There are a set of newer buses that are mostly used for the Magic Kingdom that can hold up to 112 people. If you are traveling with a stroller it will need to be folded before you get on the bus.

The Disney buses have a ramp and special locks for ECV and wheelchairs. Each bus can hold 2 of these at a time. They will be loaded on first to make sure they are locked in place. There are sections of 3 seats that fold up to make room for the ECV/wheelchair so if there are 2 on board that means 6 less seats.

Each bus has a sign on the front and side that will show its destination. If you are going to a resort and its being shared the driver will let you which resort they stop at first.

At the parks and Disney Springs there will be a sign at the beginning of the bus depot noting each resorts pick up number. There may also be stops for the other theme parks. There is also bus services for residents of Golden oak.

If you are staying on property at a Disney World resort there are monitors you can watch for up to the minute times of arrival.
