The Norway pavilion was one of the last to be added to World Showcase in 1988. It like many of the pavilion is modeled to look like a local village.
If you have any Frozen fans in your group this is the pavilion to stop in. There is a Frozen themed ride and meet and greet with the sisters. One of only 3 pavilions to feature a ride, the Frozen ever after attraction has been popular since it debuted in 2016.
For those who have visited prior you may remember this boat ride under a different name the Maelstrom. There is still the big drop at the end which my oldest has never liked.
The pavilion has features a Stave Church which houses rotating exhibits. Last we visited was all about the influence of Norway in the Frozen 2 film. On rare occasion we have seen these Norwegian Vikings walking around talking with the kids and posing for photos.
The pavilion has 1 table service and 1 quick service restaurant. Akerhus Royal Banquet hall is a must do for any princess lover. The table service is one of the more popular character dining experiences. The breakfast is oddly American themed food but lunch and dinner you will find delicious Norwegian food. This is a princess themed character dining experience where they will stop by your table and there is a princess parade that kids get to take part in, our girls favorite!
The quick service is Kringla Bakeri og Kafe. It features a few sandwiches but you really want the yummy pastries here. The seating is all outdoor and is very limited so keep this in mind if you are planning to dine here.
Elsa and Anna were so popular over in Magic Kingdom that Disney decided to expand the pavilion and added this fun meet and greet house just for them.
While there is no Fastpass available to meet the Frozen sisters the details in the Sommerhaus are worth walking through the line.
The Norway pavilion is a must stop for our family any time we are in Epcot. The Norwegian architecture is so beautiful you will forget you’re standing inside a theme park!
