The Japan pavilion is located between the Morocco and American pavilions. Japan was one of the first pavilions to be added to World Showcase.

There are 2 table service restaurants and 1 quick service.

Instead of having several smaller stores like the other countries, the Japan pavilion has 1 large store. The Mitsukoshi department store spans most of the right side of the whole pavilion. It is divided in to sections the front has most of the clothing, toys and other goods and the back has a large selection of snacks and food from Japan. This is also where you will find one of our favorite souvenirs the Pick a Pearl station.

Located about the department store you will find the 2 table service restaurants. Tepan Edo is a Japanese steakhouse where they cook right in front of you. The other Tokyo dining offers mainly sushi and a few other Japanese dishes.

The quick service restaurant is located behind the pagoda. They have noodles, teriyaki chicken/beef and limited choice of sushi. The girls did not care for the sushi we tried here best stick with one of the other options.

The only attraction you will find at this pavilion is the current exhibit on Kawaii, inside you will find history and facts on all things cute.

Just across from the Kawaii exhibit you will find the Kidcot station. They usually have some Disney themed origami on display and will occasionally give it away to the kids. This pavilion is smaller and won’t take long to explore.
