I had the pleasure of visiting Disney’s newest hotel the Riviera resort. It just opened in December 2019 and is part of the DVC (Disney Vacation Club) resorts. This place is beautiful and the rooms are sophisticated yet fun so the whole family can enjoy. This resort offers a range of room sizes from the tower studio that sleeps 2 all the way up to a 3 bedroom grand villa that sleeps up to 12! This is the 1 bedroom that has 2 separate sleeping areas and can sleep up to 5 adults.
The 1 through 3 bedroom villas features a full sized kitchen with stove, dishwasher and full sized fridge.
There is a twin pull out in the living room area that would be perfect for kids.
There is plenty of seating in the living room area which also has a built in queen sized murphy bed instead of the standard pull out couch found in the other DVC villas.
The kitchen and dining area are right next to the sleeping area but it still feels open and spacious.
The main bedroom has a king sized bed, dresser and desk.
A closet with a closing door has plenty of room for luggage and clothes.
The bathroom is split into 2 parts one with shower and toilet and the other with separate sink and large tub. There is access to the bathroom from the bedroom and just off the kitchen.
Each room comes with a balcony and can be accessed from both the bedroom and living area. This room would be perfect for families since the grown-ups can have a bedroom and the kids can have their own space. This new resort is also connected with the new Skyliner transportation just steps outside that can take you to Epcot or Hollywood Studios.
