The All-Star resorts are part of Disney World’s value level resorts. There are 3 different hotels Movies, Music and Sports and they are within walking distance of each other. All-star Music offers family suites that can sleep up to 6 plus a child under 3. These family suites are not available at the other 2 All-Star resorts, however you can find more family suites at the Art of Animation resort.

The main building is called Melody hall. The check-in deck and concierge desk are just inside. You will also find the food court, gift shop and arcade. The bus stops to the parks are located just outside.

There is a tv and limited seating for the kids to relax while the grown-ups check in.

You can also find a guitar hero game in the lobby for everyone to jam out.

The park times are posted in the lobby and the concierge desk can help you make dining reservations as well as fastpasses.

The value resorts do not come with table service (sit down restaurants) they do have food courts. They are open from 6:30 until midnight. The Disney quick service dining plan is welcome here and you can purchase the refillable mugs from here to use during your length of stay.

The food court offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options. They have snacks good for taking back to the room or in the parks. You can get whole pizzas made to order ( this is a great cheap option). This resort also offers pizza for room delivery, there should be a menu in your room.

Like other resort they have a small arcade. It doesn’t have a lot to do but could keep the kids busy on a rainy day.

The gift shop has plenty of souvenirs to buy. You can also find toiletries, swim essentials as well as a few grocery items.

There are 5 different themed areas Calypso, Jazz, Rock, Broadway and Country fair. The family suites can be found in the Jazz and Calypso sections.

The main pool is just outside Melody hall and has the 3 caballeros in the middle.

Right next to main pool you can find the guest laundry. You will need your own soap which you can purchase inside or in the gift shop. No need to worry about quarter anymore, you can just swipe you credit/debit card.

Country fair is the farthest from the main building but its about 5-7 minute walk, which is not terrible.

There are 2 pools at this resort. The main pool is in the Calypso section, the other is between the Rock and Broadway sections. The piano pool is a bit smaller and has Ariel and her friends.

The rooms come with 2 double beds and you can request a portable crib or bed rails if needed.

You can see our room review over here.

While the rooms are nothing fancy we don’t mind them as we spend a majority of our time in the parks and not in our room. The pools are simple but my girls are young enough still that they are happy with any pool. The All-Star resorts can share buses during certain times in the year. The All-Star resorts are the least expensive option for staying on property and allow you to get all the perks of being a resort guest.
