At the end of 2021 Disney World replaced the Fastpass lines with Lightning lanes, and with that change came a fee to use them. Starting today November 22nd, Disney has started selling a premier pass. The Premier pass will allow guest to use the lightning lane once per each ride that offers lightning lane without having to reserve a specific time. Previously you could only purchase the lightning lanes individually or with Genie+ you could get up to 3 per day and you have to select a specific arrival window. So this new pass will allow you more freedom in your day at the park. You also get downloads of your ride photos included in the pass. Currently only guest staying at specific Disney resort hotels are able to purchase these premier passes. These passes are not cheap, they will run between $300 to $400 per person (3 and up) per day which will add a big cost to your Disney vacation budget if you choose to purchase them.
