At the Food allergy ball in New York city the Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) recognized the Disney Parks and resorts for providing safe and quality dining for guests with food allergies and special diets.
This is one of the reasons we love Disney, they really do go above and beyond for their guests. We have experienced this first hand when we traveled with a friend who was allergic to garlic. When we booked our dining reservations it asked if anyone in our party had allergies or special dietary needs. At most of our meal the chef would come to the table and explain which items on the menu were safe to eat. At the buffets the chef walked the line with her and pointed out which items had garlic and even offered to make her some without. It was amazing service.
I have also seen at the snack carts a nice selection of gluten free items and other special diet friendly treats so the whole family can enjoy!
