The Oceaneers lab is one of the kids clubs on the Disney cruise ships. This club is designated for kids aged 3 to 12 and located just next to the Oceaneers club. Kids do need to be potty trained to play in the Oceaneer lab or club.
Once the kids are checked in they will have to make stop at the hand washing station. You just place your hands in the holes and the sink automatically washes with soap and water.
Similar to the Oceaneers club the area is broken down into sections. This area is more creative and hands on art where the club is more imaginative play. They do have an open area in the middle for games but I some how missed getting that picture.
They have a designated art room, the girls brough back multiple creation from here including a magic lamp decorated with jewels and beads.
The have a small nook showing Disney movies.
The explores room lets you pretend like you are captain of the ship.
This animator studio will give kids a lesson on how to drawn and create their own characters.
The last area is designated for cooking and creating messy science. During our cruise the girls made baking soda volcanoes and flubber. Between the 2 different options my girls enjoyed their time in the lab more than the club. But it was nice that they had the freedom to go between the 2 spaces without having to check in or out.
The Oceaneers lab and club are both included in your cruise fare and are open throughout most of the cruise. They do have scheduled activities listed on your navigator so make sure to check out all the fun things going on. Take a peek inside the Oceaneers club over here.
