One of the 3 rotational dining restaurants aboard the Disney Wish is 1923. The food offered features dishes inspired by California diverse cultural dishes. 1923 is the year that the Walt Disney company was founded and the restaurant features drawings and props from the Disney animated films.
The meal started with rolls and a honey butter dip; it was label as a dip but it was really just a whipped butter.
For appetizer my daughter got the Hyperion four cheese tri-color tortellini, she enjoyed them and was going to order another but our main course arrived.
I went with the split Napa baby romaine lettuce salad; this was a good standard salad but nothing special.
The kids menu offered the most variety and not just pizza and chicken tenders.
From the kids menu my youngest wanted something quick so she could go back to the kids club so she got the crusty pepperoni pizza which came with some veggies and choice of 2nd side.
For my main course I went with the Tortiglioni pasta with pancetta and mushrooms. This looked really good based off the menu description but the sauce was very rich and I could not finish it.
My oldest loves salmon so she got the Seared verlasso salmon filet with parsnip puree which she really enjoyed.
Of the 3 main dining rooms the deserts here were underwhelming.
We tried the Fuji apple cheesecake and the blueberry-lemon Bavarian cream for dessert both were small and a nice ending to our meal but we felt the desert options here were fairly limited.
