Liberty Tree Tavern is a table service located in Magic Kingdom in the Liberty Square section of the park. This dining location is not too popular so it’s easy to find a table here, but we made a reservation just in case.

This restaurant is styled like a colonial inn and has rooms dedicated to America’s founding fathers (and Betsy Ross). We sat in the Benjamin Franklin section but were told we could walk around and check out the other rooms. Each featured artifacts from each historical figure including George Washington and Paul Revere.

The menu here is pre-set with what is similar to a thanksgiving style meal and is served family style on a big platter. You can ask for more of anything menu and it’s included in your price. The meal also includes your drinks.

They brought out a salad and rolls first. The salad was good and 2 of my 3 kids enjoyed some, but they did not care for the apples and crasins they mixed in.

The main course had turkey, pot roast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and macaroni and cheese. All my kids ate everything but the pot roast, which I admit was a bit dry.

For dessert they had this Ooooey gooey toffee cake, it looks small in this photo but was enough for the 4 of us to share. For families with nut allergies, they have an apple cake you can request instead.

Our table was right next to this stamp collection and writing desk from Ben Franklin. Our meal was very good, and we all left nice and full. The girls have already asked if we can dine here again and said it’s one of their new favorites.
