Start by visiting the American Adventure pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. Watch an Epic Journey and enjoy a retelling of American history including the writing and signing of the Declaration of Independence. Be sure to take your picture with Mickey, Minnie and friends dressed in their patriotic attire in front of the pavilion.

You can listen to the Voices of Liberty a Capella group at the American Garden Theater. Shows will take place 5:30, 6:45 and 8pm. After Illuminations there will be special fireworks  and be sure to take your picture with Mickey, Minnie and friends dressed in their patriotic attire.

If you plan to be at the Magic Kingdom you need to stop by Liberty Square. This is a great place to just take in the atmosphere, the buildings make you feel like you have traveled back to colonial America. You can catch the Muppet show Great moments in history.

Be sure to stop into the Hall of Presidents. You can enter the building without having to watch the show, you should at least take a peak at the authentic presidential artifacts on display.

At Magic Kingdom there are 2 different DJ’d dance parties in Frontierland and Tomorrowland. These run from 7pm until Midnight.

End your day at the Magic Kingdom with Disney’s Celebrate America fireworks show at 9:15, you can also catch them on July 3rd. This show replaces Happily Ever After on both nights.
