The Carribean beach is a moderate resort located on site at Disney World. This resort is the main hub to the Disney Skyliner which provides transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Rooms here come with either 1 King, 2 queens or 2 queen beds and child sized twin bed.
We stayed in one of the newly refurbished 5th sleeper rooms. These come with a standard queen, a queen murphy style bed and a small twin pull down bed. These updated rooms feature the Little mermaid but not as detailed as the rooms over at the Art of Animation.
The rooms come standard with mini fridge, safe and pod brewing coffee maker. The room itself felt very spacious but the big thing that was missing was a table and chairs for dining in the room. We were able to make do with the couch and coffee table.
The child pull down was good enough for my 6 year old to sleep but would not be comfortable for an older child or adult.
The bathroom area features 2 sinks separate from the shower and toilet. There is also a nice sized closet area to hang clothing if needed. We were able to store the luggage under the main bed and out of the way.
The bathroom has a shower/tub combination which as a parent I am happy to have for the little ones bath. It seems like a lot of the refurbished rooms and newer resorts are shower only.
The second queen bed was easy to pull out in the evening and put away in the morning. The table was also light enough to move around the room and out of the way for the bed to be fully down at night.
This resort is quite spread out and does offer bus that goes to each of the different sections including the main building with dining, pool and lobby. The updated rooms are located in the Trinidad section which is also close to the Skyliner access. We would definitely stay at this resort again; I really like the colors they used for these rooms.
