A: When booking your cruise there are 2 separate seating times dinner. The main seating will usually start around 6pm and the second seating is at 8:15pm. If you are traveling with small children, the earlier seating time may work best for you. If you book your cruise closer to the sail date, there may not be a choice which is what we experienced on our first cruise, but it was ok because there is plenty of dining options available throughout the day including 24-hour room service. One of the perks to dining at the second seating is something DCL offers called dine and play, where the counselors from the Oceaneers club bring the kids down to the club so grownups have time to enjoy dinner kid free. On the last day of the cruise before you debark you will eat breakfast at the rotational restaurant you had dinner at the night before and for those with first seating you will eat at 6:45am and for second seating 8am. The schedule of which restaurants you eat at will be assigned your first day of the cruise and can be found on the schedule on the Disney cruise app.
