New as of 2017 the Festival of the Arts is a mix of visual, performing and the culinary arts. This year the festival will be on going 7 days a week. Lets take a look at what this years festival has to offer!

 

1.Food studios

Much like the other festivals Epcot hosts through out the year, there are food booths (food studios) set up through out World Showcase. Disney offers food and drink that at are both a feast for the eyes and the stomach.

2.Disney on Broadway concert series

On the weekends at the American Gardens theater in World Showcase you can watch the Disney on Broadway concert series. Songs from Disney’s popular Broadways musicals are sung by the official cast members. Each weekend during the festival will feature different songs and cast.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.Visiting Artists

In addition to the festival merchandise for purchase there are booths set up through out with prints and canvas of Disney art from all different artist. Check the times guide for when the artist will be on hand to autograph your purchase. I was even able to watch a few paintings and sketches being done live.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.Expression Section

You can join in on the fun and help paint a color by number mural at the Expression Section . Each person is given a small cup of paint and assigned a number to paint on the mural, fun for the whole family!

 

 

 

 

 

5.Artful photo ops

After you have created art its time to be in the art. Through out World Showcase Disney has taken famous paintings and removed the original characters so that you can be the star. Paintings include the Mona Lisa and George Washington crossing the Delaware.

 

 

 

 

6.Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt

This does require and extra fee but is fun for kids. You get a scavenger map and search the World Showcase for the pictures of Figment. Once you have found all the pictures return the map for a prize. Last year it was a magnet this year it’s a Figment pin.

 

 

 

7.Check out all the art

From paintings to chalk art there is plenty to enjoy in both Future World and World Showcase.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Admission to the International festival of the Arts is included in your Epcot park ticket. The festival runs from January 12th until February 19th.
