Do you remember doing the paint by number pictures as a kid? Well Disney has taken that concept to the next level at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. At the front of World Showcase before the Canadian pavilion you will find the Expression section.
For this mural there were 14 different colors, a Disney cast member passed out the color of their choosing but if you have your heart set on a particular one just ask I’m sure they will let you pick. After you get your paint color, grab a brush and find a spot to paint. The number your color coordinates to is on top of the paint cup and they were letting each guest paint 5 squares.
When you are done painting they had bins for the left over paint and brushes to go and a cast member will give you a post card showing what the final design will look like.
The 2 pictures were taken about 3 hours apart, you can see that it doesn’t take long for the picture to come together. This is fun for the whole family! If you are heading to the Festival of the arts make sure to stop by.
The expression section is open daily from 11am until 5pm and the Festival of the Arts runs from January 12th to February 19th.
